Last night in London, Our friend Butterfly attended Mr Brainwash‘s first solo show in London at Opera Gallery.
The French-born artist that came to prominence after being featured in Banksy’s Oscar-nominated documentary Exit Through The Gift Shop presented his new body of work for the first time in UK.
MBW used spray-painted stencils, Acrylic or even broken records to produce vibrant pieces containing his popular figures, imagery and themes on large scale canvases.
Thierry Guetta seemed to be brimming with energy during his stay in London and he is now planning a large scale installation in the city for the 2012 Olympics.
This has been a very nice event and we can only recommend you to stop by if you are in London otherwise enjoy Butterfly’s pictures!
