For decades, the story of West Dallas has been one of poverty, neglect, and hard times. It’s hardly the place one would go looking for great art, until now…
Shepard Fairey and his crew already completed two huge murals earlier this week (covered) and here are the two new additions to the project commissioned by the Dallas Contemporary Museum.

In celebration of the mural project, Dallas Contemporary hosted the first annual PHENOMENON, an over-the-top, neon-inspired dance party. Fairey provided the music for guests in the Dallas Contemporary galleries.
