Next month, Greek artist Alexandros Vasmoulakis will be opening his new UK solo show in London at Gallery Nosco.
Titled “It Felt Like A Kiss” this new show will feature his female protagonists rendered as supernatural creatures with a colourful mixture of oil, ink and acrylic.
According to Vasmoulakis, the patterns of a patriarchal society throughout history have been established due to men’s lustful desire and simultaneous fear of women.
Alexandros Vasmoulakis portrays the castrated man, who, disarmed and powerless, witnessed Death and Desire, confessing that this revelation “felt like a kiss”.

“It Felt Like A Kiss” will open on April 12th at 6PM and will run until April 28th
Gallery Nosco – 50 Redchurch Street, E2 7DP London
