A few days ago, our friend DAL opened his first European solo show at Urban Painting Gallery in Italy.
After the successful opening of “Antenna Garden” with Faith47 in Melbourne, Australia last month (covered), the Chinese street artist now delivers a whole new body of work on canvas for this exhibition.
The theme of “Fever Of The Worn Land” is a city, inhabited by ghosts with abandoned buildings that are melting down and returning to the earth. Fever is coming from a worn land, crossed by DAL’s animals that seem to have forgetfullness of the human being.
The tactile quality of this three-dimensional work is complimented by the gestural approach and ribbon-like structure of forms in his airbrush works on canvas.
This is another success for DAL with this almost sold out show, we can’t wait to see what he will be doing next but we can say that we will have a brilliant surprise for you sometime soon…

If you stop by Northern Italy, the show will run until May 23rd at Urban Painting Gallery, Piazza Manzoni 8 – Carugate.

More pictures after the jump…
