After The Guardian Angel by Marcantonio Francheschini (covered), The Linley Sisters by Thomas Gainsborough (covered), British artist Stik has now reinterpreted two extra pieces in South East London.
Yesterday, he painted Murillo’s Three Boys which can be seen at the end wall of the bowling building in Dulwich Park.
He also had enough time to work and complete his own version of Tilly Kettle’s Eliza and Mary Davison.
On 20 May 2012 at 2.30pm, there will be a special tour of the works in Dulwich, led by Stik and Ingrid Beazley, culminating in a visit to the Gallery to see the original works which inspired Stik’s reinterpretations.  The tour will start at Push Studios, Blackwater Court, Blackwater Street where Stik’s interpretation of Franceschini’s The Guardian Angel can already be seen.
