Vhils New Mural In Mexico City

Four days (progress) and a few hammers, chisels and pneumatic drills is all that was needed for Vhils and his crew to complete this new mural on the streets of Mexico City for the All City Canvas Festival.
By removing bits of plaster and paint, by peeling away layers of history, Vhils reveals the emotion and humanity of his subjects, who are largely unknown. This excavation, often a process of violent removal, stands in sharp contrast to the delicate portraits discovered hidden underneath.
