French stencil artist C215 is currently in Roma preparing his upcoming solo show at Wunderkammern.
The Parisian painter just completed this new piece entitled “Mea Maxima Culpa”, which is a portrait of Pius XII aka Eugenio Maria Giuseppe Giovanni Pacelli whom reigned as Pope, head of the Catholic Church and sovereign of Vatican City State, from 2 March 1939 until his death in 1958. His “decision to stay silent in public about the fate of the Jews” remain the subject of controversy.
