The small town of Grottaglie, located in the high heel of the boot that is Italy, is admittedly not on most tourist itineraries. Yet thanks to the efforts of Studiocromie’s Angelo Milano and Fame Festival, the city has attracted some of the scene’s most talented artists.
Swoon is currently in Grottaglie, where she dropped several new pieces for the local residents to enjoy.
Her signature works include life-size human forms that she creates from recycled paper. It takes her weeks to paint and cut out each figure in her studio, and once the pieces are ready, she takes them to the streets and glues them to the side of buildings using wheat paste.
Take a peep at some more shots below, then check back with us shortly for more updates from Grottaglie.
