Japanese artist Kenta Torii was also in Mexico for the excellent Board Dripper Festival where he painted this beautiful piece on the streets of Queretaro.
This mural is an interesting juxtaposition of his Japanese heritage combined with Folkloric Mexican elements like the Concheros dance. This dance is an important tradiotional dance and ceremony which has been performed in Mexico since early in the colonial period.
