While you discovered Ernest Zacharevic‘s latest street pieces in Barcelona (covered), the young Lithuanian artists was finishing up painting, installing and setting up the new works for his solo show “Rock Paper Scissors!” @ Montana Gallery in Barcelona.
This show is his first European solo show, and is a big finale of his recent art residence he did in Barcelona. The works and installations he created for this event are continuing of his street works he’s been creating around Malaysia, as well as his recent solo show there (covered). Painting on found objects, his work are perfect balance between his fine painting and spray painting. Along with exhibiting new works created on found wood, old suitcases, boxes, barrels, windows, etc, he created an effective install that combines objects and painting. The show will be on view until 3rd of May.
Ernest is about to release a new edition of hand finished prints based on his mural in Singapore (covered), so stay tuned for more info on that.
