Thierry Noir is a French artist who was one of the very pioneers of street art, especially in Europe. Living in a squat in Berlin in 80s and 90s, he was one of the first to start painting the Berlin wall. Years after his colorful profile characters became one of the landmark images of the wall and the city.
These days Noir is visiting London where he is working on his first ever gallery show at Howard Griffin gallery, opening on 4th of April, as well as creating some public works around the city.
The other day he created these signature profiles as well as couple of flower characters on this garage door in Shoreditch, getting a lot of attention from local street art lovers and medias.
