How Nosm recently visited Hong Kong for the premier of their limited edition Sake Junmai bottle they created in collaboration with Yardbird and Pace Prints.

How Nosm recently visited Hong Kong for the premier of their limited edition Sake Junmai bottle they created in collaboration with Yardbird and Pace Prints. During their stay in the city, they were invited also to leave the to leave their black n red mark on the Vaford Gates in Hong Kong’s Chai Wan district.

Inspired by the legendary Houston Bowery Wall in New York, Vaford Gates is the largest public mural of its kind in HK, spanning 35sqm, with an ever-changing facade painted by emerging and established artists from all over the world.

The identical twins How Nosm spent couple of days painting two of the gates, creating recognizable works that are visual explosion of characters, symbols, objects and patterns. Coming from a strong graffiti background, the brothers are strictly using spray paint, but are combining free hand painting with stencils, getting richer, more complex images. Surreal murals they created on the gates are prime examples of their work that earned them their firm place in contemporary urban art.
