Ludo just sent in a series of images from his a series of new pieces he just finished working on in his hometown of Paris, France. These artworks are part of his “Love and Riot” series.
This series was very motivated by the global atmosphere here in France…maybe Europe and could be a worldwide global feeling (hopefully not).I feel sad and ashamed to live in a country where, when it’s about facing social and economical problems, the easiest solution is electing extremism far right politicians. Choosing the option of a non dialogue, each selfishly protecting their own business, and direct violence in its unclever way (don’t know if violence is clever but at least sometimes it means energy and changes) and giving voices to despicable people. When we just celebrated the 70th anniversary of d-day, we respond by choosing politicians who were before know as strong anti-semitic.Sad days…Even if I hate the kind of zorro politicians artists, this situation makes me sick. —-LUDO
