Swoon was also invited for the Djerbahood project to paint on the island of Djerba in Tunisia.

Swoon was also invited for the Djerbahood project to paint on the island of Djerba in Tunisia. The American artist brought some of her signature pasters for the locals to enjoy. Brooklyn-based artist Swoon celebrates everyday people and explores social and environmental issues with her signature paper portraits and figurative installations. She is best known for her large, intricately-cut prints wheat pasted to industrial buildings in Brooklyn and Manhattan. The Djerbahood project is organised by Paris’ Gallerie Itinerrance.
