Eddie Colla, 2wenty, Caratoes & Nite Owl new pieces at the Salton Sea, USA

Eddie Colla recently joined his friends and fellow artists 2wenty, Caratoes and Nite Owl, on a to the Salton Sea, a man­made, salt water lake located directly on the San Andreas fault near the Coachella Valley.
Empty buildings and decaying structures they found there were perfect fit for Colla’s post apocalyptic portraits he’s been known for. Oakland­based artist put up a series of monumental wheatpastes that continue the works for his recent solo show at Ian Ross Gallery, “Atavisms”. Nite Owl painted couple of his signature owl characters, while 2twenty created some impressive long-exposure shots to capture the entire projects.
