Brooklyn based gilf! one of NYC’s most recognized and provocative female street artists will be releasing a four color hand pulled serigraph today Tuesday September 23rd at 11am Eastern time.
gilf!’s focus is on creating bold typographic public works that inspire thoughtfulness, while simultaneously motivating progressive change within communities.  This was perfectly demonstrated earlier this year when gilf! wrapped the famous graffiti mecca 5Pointz in police tape stating “gentrification in progress” after it’s walls were white washed without warning.

Folioleaf is proud to announce the release of a new edition based on one of gilf!’s most iconic works: To Tehran With Love. The edition 50 prints are hand-pulled four color serigraphs on 21 x 29 inch 290 lbs Coventry Rag paper printed by the Brooklyn-based Kayrock Screenprinting lab. The edition is available now!!

Over the last two years, To Tehran With Love has become one of the most beloved murals in downtown Manhattan. Countless photos are shot in front of it everyday: weddings, fashionistas, celebrities and tourists fill Instagram and other social media with images of gilf!s helicopters dropping love on Tehran’s landscape. It’s a symbol of hope for a peaceful planet, a way to reexamine how the world “must” operate.

gilf! is definitely one of the most talked about female street artists coming out of the NYC area.  This is a rare opportunity to own one of her prints at an affordable price.  If the speed in which Folioleaf’s Dain prints sold out is any indication of how long these prints will be available you better act fast…
