Art Basel ’14: Herakut paints a massive mural in Wynwood, Miami

Along the opening of their exhibition at Mana in Wynwood, Herakut also rocked the streets of Miami with a brand new piece.
Entitled “I Dreamt I Was a Human. It Was a… Nightmare”, the German street art duo once again dropped an impressive artwork. Albeit dark in nature, the imagery found in Herakut’s works is striking, conveying a myriad of emotions through the main focus of their works: the eyes. It is this emphasis on a darker color palette that serves as a background to their murals while adding a vibrant energy to these specific elements chosen to be emphasized in their creations.
