You ever wanted to have your images seen by thousands of people across the world? Well, now is your chance!
Microsoft Lumia has joined forces with creative collaboration platform Talenthouse to offer artists, illustrators and graphic designers the chance to create original art as part of the #TileArt app launch.
The American brand is looking for bold, intelligent and exciting designs that completely transform what Lumia phones could look like. Anything goes, stylistically, from paint, pencil, stencils or street installations.
The 6MB #TileArt app available on Windows Phone Store has five main features – create custom tile layout by pining images/ photos, upload transparent png images, customize lock screen, share home screen with friends and access free #TileArt gallery.
End-users will be able to get their favorite images and pin them to their home screen creating a true personalized phone.
Artists up for the challenge have until Tuesday 24 February to showcase how their artwork would look on a Lumia phone.
Four artists will be selected by Microsoft and judges to receive, a Lumia 930 (also given to the ten shortlistees), $1,500 cash, a Surface Pro 3 and have their images featured in the #TileArt app gallery where thousands of people will be able to download and admire the artwork on their Lumia phones.
Take a look below to discover a brand new video about #TileArt and then make sure to head straight to Talenthouse’s website to participate in this brilliant career opportunity.
