Maya Hayuk has landed in Honolulu, Hawaii where she just started working on a brand new creation for the always excellent Pow! Wow! Hawaii. StreetArtNews paid a visit to the American artist as she was wrapping up her second day in the district of Kaka’Ako.
From her large-scale murals to small works on paper, her obsession with symmetry and nourishing colour play out in what might be seen as views from the Hubble Telescope, airbrushed nail art, Mexican woven blankets, Ukrainian Easter eggs, chandeliers, mandalas, rorschach tests or holograms.
