AWOL Crew paints a new mural in Melbourne, Australia

AWOL Crew recently spent four days painting the entire side of a large building at Fountain Gate in Melbourne's outer suburbs. The crew consists of Adnate, Slicer, Lucy Lucy, Deams and Itch all of which have their own diverse painting styles making their large scale murals unique.

AWOL Crew recently spent four days painting the entire side of a large building at Fountain Gate in Melbourne’s outer suburbs. The crew consists of Adnate, Slicer, Lucy Lucy, Deams and Itch all of which have their own diverse painting styles making their large scale murals unique.
Aaron Li-Hill is also part of AWOL although he is based in Brooklyn USA and unfortunately wasn’t in Australia at the time to join in on this production.
The crew describe this artwork as: “The piece is centred around sleep and subconscious activity. We wanted to capture the transition from conscious to unconscious realities and experiences”.
