Preview: MYGALO “UKTOEGFPKEODR” Solo Show @ Paris’ Controversy Art

Our friend MYGALO is set to open his newest exhibition in Paris entitled “UKTOEGFPKEODR” next week at Controversy Art and we have some exclusive preview images for you.

Irony and sarcasm are MYGALO’s weapons to mock and nurse the wounds of the soul. His black and white fleshless skeletons and his catch lines are printed on trucks like a defence against fear and anxiety. 

They are like a copy of our lives, like a revelation of our finitude. In a way, they are “vanities”. Sometimes, they remind us our fallibility, sometimes our questionings while facing our complexity. They question our place in the course of things, reminding it to us with humility. 

In some words, MYGALO impacts in a corrosive way, derision and with humor, on the world’s disorder and of our lives. He reveals in a few lines untold pains. He tells laconically and with accuracy about love disenchantment and our everyday life turpitude. 

MYGALO presents a new exhibition called “UKTOEGFPKEODR” and reveals a shady world of sketch, drawing, painting and sculpture. It is black and white, bright and translucent colors, methodical as well as untidy and MYGALO invites us to share a part of his work before closing a chapter and doing other themes. So let’s avert with him our questions about life, death and other considerations before he decides to bury these bodies definitively. And close and seal their graves forever.
