After a stunning series of installations a few weeks ago in Paris, Felice Varini has now landed in Saint-Goazec where he just finished working on this massive new piece entitled “Castle’s ZigZag”. This impressive anamorphic illusion has been painted on the Château de Trévarez which is a stately home in the commune of Saint-Goazec in Finistère, in Brittany, France. It was commissioned by James Kerjégu, Chairman of the General Council of Finistère, and built at the end of the 19th century by the French architect Walter-André Destailleur. Quite rare to see such old buildings and structures being painted. The Swiss artist also created “Red Bench Ellipse” which is located within the castle’s garden.
